U.S. envoy slated to leave Havana post

Michael Kozak, head of the U.S. Interests Section in Cuba, is scheduled to leave
his job in Havana later this year as part of the ``normal rotation'' of U.S. diplomats,
             U.S. officials say.

His replacement is likely to be Vicky J. Huddleston, a former U.S. ambassador to
Madagascar who also served as deputy chief of mission in Haiti and at the State
Department's Cuba desk, a well-placed official told The Herald. An official
announcement is not expected for several weeks.
