Former Toledoan In Castro Forces Says He’s Cuban

HAVANA, Oct. 16 (AP)—William Morgan, Toledo, Veteran of the Cuban revolution, declares: “I am Cuban.”

The Cuban army major, who renounced his U.S. citizenship Sept. 24 after Washington rejected his request to continue serving in Cuba without loss of U.S. citizenship, made the statement last night to reporters who asked him if he considered himself American or Cuban.
