and railing. Initial damage was fixed

  In Jan. 1960, Fidel Castro drove a
  bulldozer that destroyed the outer
  walls. Note that there are no bullet
  holes on the building, which was
  repaired immediately after the attack.

 
 
     The officers' barbershop, where the rebels holed up, 
     was hit by machine gun fire during the attack.
