Scientists discover 500-year-old mummies

             SALTA -- Three Inca mummies more than 500 years old have been discovered
             virtually intact on the summit of a volcano in the province of Salta.

             The mummies were unearthed by anthropologists from National Geographic
             magazine.

             The remains were discovered six feet under the snow on the summit of the
             Llullaillaco volcano, near the Chilean border.
