U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized 1,504 pounds of marijuana Saturday at the Mariposa cargo facility at the Nogales port of entry.
A gamma-ray scan on a tractor-trailer revealed an anomaly in the front of the trailer, said customs spokesman Roger Maier.

Officers found the marijuana wrapped in cellophane in a compartment, Maier said.
