HAVANA -- Relatives of four jailed dissidents have asked Spain's King Juan
             Carlos to seek the release of their loved ones during his visit to Cuba this year,
             dissident sources said Wednesday.

             Vladimiro Roca, Felix Bonne, Martha Beatriz Roque and Rene Gomez have been
             held without charges since 1997.

             The prisoners' relatives submitted their letter to the Spanish Embassy on Jan. 22.
             The king is expected to visit Cuba sometime in the next few months.
