       U.S. Marines take up positions to watch for snipers in
       the streets near the Haitian Presidential Palace in
       Port-au-Prince on March 3. The Marines cleared
       barricades that have blocked the streets for weeks.
        Two U.S. Marines take up position as barricades
        are moved from the city center. The Marines
        spent the day clearing the roads of debris.
