Subject: well, excuuuuuuuuuuuse me!

Dear Mr. Tira:

Concerning Mr. Tom Fiedler's recent remarks about the Cuban-American community, I bow my head, shuffle my feet and hurrumph.....

Excuse me, sir. (shuffle, shuffle...).   Surely, you know damn well  that "chihuahua" is another word for "spic." Oops.  Pardon me, but your editor's bigotry is showing.  Perhaps also your newspaper's.

I weep for Mr. Fiedler, as I do for Herr Hitler and Comrade Stalin and the entire Ku Klux Klan.   An immortal soul is a terrible thing to waste.

So are trees, when it comes to the Herald.
