Dr. Prio and 3 Jailed
Cuban Ex-President Joins Men Who Can't Raise Bail

Dr. Carlos Prio Socarras, former President of Cuba, chose to become a prisoner in Miami yesterday because three men indicted with him for revolutionary activities against Cuba were unable to raise bail.

Dr. Prio and eight others were indicted here yesterday on charges of violating this country's neutrality laws.  Dr. Prio, Daniel Vasquez y Coejo, Dr. Enrique Henriquez and Juan Orta surrendered in Federal Court in Miami yesterday.  Bail was set at $3,000 each.

When Dr. Prio's co-defendents said they could not put up the bond.  The exiled former Cuban President said he, too, would go to jail until they could win freedom.

Meanwhile in Federal Court here Jose Iriarte, another defendant, pleaded not guilty to the charges of conspiring to "facilitate military expeditions."
