Special to The New York Times

HAVANA, Feb. 10—The struggle between Government authorities and exponents of President Fulgencio Batista is taking an increasing number of lives.

Daily reports reach Havana of revolutionists’ killing members of the armed forces and civilians allied closely with the Government. The bodies of youthful rebels are found on streets and highways of the interior, particularly in Oriente Province.

During the last twenty-four hours a series of violent actions by the rebels has caused concern in Havana. A policeman and a bus passenger died in a gun battle between troops and two youths attempting to kill a member of the Police Bureau of Investigations in suburban Santos Suarez.

A police lieutenant, Isauro Radillo gallego was shot and seriously wounded in the suburb of Lawton late last night has he got off a bus. Leal Cepero, a soldier at Camp Columbia Army Headquarters, was shot and wounded in the Miramar residential section.

In Santiago, the body of Alfredo Gutierrez, riddled with thirty bullets, was found in a street. Abad Bell Castillo was shot and wounded on a street in Santiago.

At Manzanillo, also in Oriente Province, Manuel Viltres was wounded.

At the funeral of Señor Gutierrez, women sang the national anthem and carried flags of the Twenty-sixth of July movement, which is headed by Fidel Castro, rebel leader.
