Armory Suspect Held
F. B. I. Makes 2d Arrest in Theft of Weapons

The second man sought in the theft of $2,800 in weapons from a National Guard Armory from Huntington Station, L. I., on Sept. 22 was arrested in Brooklyn yesterday by the F. B. I.  The suspect, Arthur Lee Berg, 23 years old, of Huntington Station, was remanded in $1,500 bond to the Federal House of Detention in Brooklyn.

The other suspect, Louis Phillip Almeida Jr., 21, also of Huntington Station, was arrested on Thursday.  Both men were charged with stealing thirteen rifles, three machine guns, two launching rockets and four pairs of binoculars.  They allegedly tried to sell the weapons in Florida to agents of Fidel Castro, the Cuban rebel leader.
