Caracas Curbs Cubans
Regime Radio Talks Sympathetic to Castro

Special to The New York Times.

CARACAS, Venezuela, Oct. 18--Cuban sympathizers here of Fidel Castro, the Cuban rebel leader, will not be able to continue their nightly radio program, it was announced today.

The Venezuelan Government said such programs could not be allowed to continue in view of the fact that Venezuela maintains relations with the Government of President Fulgencio Batista.

Regular news about the rebels can be broadcast, the Government order said, but the program sponsored by the rebel sympathizers cannot be permitted.

Supporters here of Senor Castro protested today against the arrest of four of their number three days ago.

The four had been called to the immigration department and arrested but they were released yesterday.  No explanation of the arrests was offered by the Venezuelan Government but it was presumed that their documents were not in order.

Many Cuban refugees have entered Venezuela without papers.
