Dr. Carlos Marquez Sterling yesterday issued a protest against his arrest Sunday in San Nicolas de Guines, where he went to participate in a meeting of the Orthodox Party. He was kept incommunicado for some hours and later released.
    He said the branch of the Orthodox Party to which he belongs, which is legally registered for participation in the coming elections, is fed up with this type of thing, which he said tended to prove right those who claimed that there is no peaceful solution to the present political situation.
